HOT WEATHER ANNOUNCEMENT
The hot weather has arrived. To ensure the ongoing wellbeing of all campers, coaches and staff we have implemented some schedule changes for the remainder of this week.
In anticipation of this, we held extra court time yesterday and have used this morning’s session to carry out some of the activities which were scheduled for the rest of the week.
The wonderful facilities here at Westminster School mean that can change the venue of the Thursday 2-4 session from the court to the pool to keep our campers cool. Our coaches have devised a fitness program that all campers will participate in. We will accommodate for campers with varying confidence in the pool environment. Westminster will provide required pool staff, including lifeguards, as they do for our pool party. The pool party will still go ahead for the evening session as planned.
Live Out Campers will need to ensure that they have their bathers and towel available for this session.
A reminder:
- Boarding facilities as well as the meal times at Marion RSL are all fully air-conditioned.
- There are cold water taps available at Westminster Gym and in the Boarding House Foyer, and a cold water fountain is provided at Marion RSL for all campers to use to fill up their water bottles throughout the day.
The venue for the awards ceremony on Friday is to be confirmed. Please monitor our Facebook page and emails for any further updates.
